Associates Committee
Bringing Members Together
The Associates Committee plans social events that bring NIBCA members together throughout the year, including Coffee Talks, Campground Takeover and Gone Wild. It is a great way to connect, build relationships and become more involved in the NIBCA community.
Workforce Development Committee
Building the Future of the Industry
The Workforce Development Committee supports education and training for the building industry while helping prepare the next generation of professionals. Its work includes educational programs, professional development and connections with student chapters in local high schools.
North Idaho Builders - Political Action Committee (NIB-PAC)
Supporting the Building Industry’s Voice
NIB-PAC works to support candidates and issues important to North Idaho’s building industry. While it remains a separate entity, it works closely with NIBCA to help ensure the interests of the industry are represented.
Home & Garden Show Committee
Bringing the Industry to the Community
The Home & Garden Show Committee plans and manages NIBCA’s annual shows in Kootenai and Bonner counties, bringing together businesses from across the region and connecting them directly with the public.
Joint Government Issues Committee
Connecting Industry and Local Government
The Joint Government Issues Committee brings together representatives from municipalities, counties, regulatory agencies and the building industry to discuss issues affecting new home construction and development.
Membership Committee
Growing a Stronger NIBCA
The Membership Committee focuses on recruiting, welcoming and retaining NIBCA members. Through membership drives, orientations and outreach, the committee helps new members understand the association and find opportunities to get involved.
Parade of Homes Committee
Showcasing North Idaho Builders
The Parade of Homes Committee plans and manages one of NIBCA’s largest annual events, showcasing member builders, their homes, suppliers and trade professionals throughout North Idaho.
Professional Women in Building (PWB) Council
Connect. Grow. Lead.
The Professional Women in Building Council provides networking, professional development and community involvement opportunities for employees of NIBCA member companies. PWB also supports NIBCA events and provides educational scholarships for those pursuing continued education in building industry-related fields.
Developers Committee
Supporting Thoughtful Growth
Builders, developers and community partners come together through the Developers Committee to support responsible, community-oriented growth across North Idaho.
The committee encourages collaboration, education and communication with local jurisdictions while promoting thoughtful development and planning for the region’s future.
Young Professionals Committee
Developing the Next Generation of Leaders
The Young Professionals Committee helps make NIBCA membership more valuable and engaging for building industry professionals under the age of 45.
Through mentoring, leadership training and education, the committee helps emerging professionals build relationships and grow within the industry.
