SPIKE CLUB Logo

Grow NIBCA. Become a SPIKE.

The SPIKE Club recognizes NIBCA members who help grow and strengthen the association by recruiting new Builder and Associate members. Member-to-member recruitment and retention are a major part of NIBCA’s growth, and SPIKEs help build the association’s voice, influence and long-term stability.

How to Become a SPIKE

Members earn SPIKE credits by recruiting new members and helping them stay connected to NIBCA.

  • 1 credit for each new Builder or Associate member you recruit
  • ½ credit for each anniversary that follows for those members
  • Earn 6 credits to become a SPIKE Club member

As your credits grow, so does your recognition within the association and the broader building industry.

Local SPIKE Benefits

Becoming a SPIKE is about more than earning credits. SPIKEs are recognized as active, connected members who are helping strengthen the association and grow the building industry community.

SPIKE members may receive:

  • Recognition for their contributions to NIBCA
  • Increased visibility at industry events
  • Networking opportunities with SPIKEs from across the country
  • Achievement lapel pins as they reach new levels
  • Invitations to exclusive SPIKE events
  • Additional VIP opportunities throughout the year

National SPIKE Benefits

The SPIKE Club is also a benefit provided through the National Association of Home Builders. Qualified SPIKE members can receive invitations to special events at the International Builders’ Show, including the SPIKE Party and Builders’ Show Closing Concert.

Members who have recruited at least five new Builder or Associate members may also receive access to the SPIKE VIP section at the concert, including complimentary food and drinks.

Helping grow NIBCA strengthens the association for everyone. If you enjoy connecting people, building relationships and supporting the industry, becoming a SPIKE is a great way to make a bigger impact.
